Inclusive Fellowship: We are a fellowship of believers that welcomes everyone regardless of race, social status, previous failures, or present struggles etc. We want to be a church known to love everyone. Matthew 11:28 ESV, “Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”
Authentic Community: We strive to eliminate hypocrisy, to be genuine, realizing we all have personal struggles. We emphasize the importance of confessing our sins to one another, forgiving one another, and praying for one another. We encourage one another and help one another in our struggles and help each other out of our struggles. 1 John 1:7-8 ESV, “But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin. (8) If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.”
Intentional Mission: Our desire to reproduce our fellowship will not be passive. We seek opportunities to lead individuals into a personal relationship with Christ by sharing the Gospel message. We seek opportunities to begin new fellowship connections, and we seek opportunities to plant new churches. Acts 1:8 ESV, “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth."
Compassionate Ministry: We strive to treat others with the compassion of Jesus, that we seek to not only meet spiritual needs of people, but we also strive to meet their physical needs as well, providing food for the hungry, clothes to the poor, help for the addicted and counseling for the afflicted. Matthew 25:35-36 ESV, “For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, (36) I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me.”
While we are conservative in theology and teach Theological Truth that closely aligns with The Baptist Faith and Message 2000, we emphasize at least these four key values in our fellowship.
